blood drive and work
If i don't get my permit next week I am going to go crazy its been way to long. Well I am working too much again because it is Penn State Graduation. I got called in for a double shift today so that sucks. I have no time to study for the Lechnar exam so sunday I must bunker down. Sorry Elliott, good job surviving the surgery. Oh yeah the blood drive...... Well I went in a little bit early answered all the questions everything was going fine. They pricked my finger put in the neddle and started the drain. Not much any pain at all because being in a serious car accident a needle doesn't really have as much as an affect or effect cant differenciate between those two words. Anyways I was litereally 2 minutes from being done with the blood drive when like I did when I got my CT scan, I got really hot really fast. They unplugged me, I held my arm up and was told to put pressure on it. Not wanting to look at it, stupidly, I didn't put enough pressure on it and when the guy came back he said something to the effect of " Geez this looks like a civil war hospital" how did all this blood on your hand." I was like "WHAT?" I had to rest on the table until i got better. That was tough cause I was trying not to get nausiated casue I was burning up so much. It was really nice for steph to get me some food afterwords and for other people to walk me over to the resting area Thanks. For you squimish kids that are not yet 17 I say this to you. Let your fear on neddles and blood go away becuase giving blood and saving some lives is much more important than for you to stay in your comfort level. OK? I felt like crap that i couldnt't finish the drive but it can used for research so some good came out of it. In spring give blood people.
